Calling all Disco Divas!! I need your help on a song!

I'm looking for a song that has thes lyrics (or something like them)

Making love ? in the night
Oh Oh Making love ? in the night

Take me in your arms and rock me
Take me in your arms and rock me baby
Take me in your arms and rock me
Take me in your arms and rock me baby

I'm trying to think of more lyrics but can't!! Anyone know what song I'm thinking of?

Divas!! I still need an answer. Stymsters, I went to CDNow and didn't find that song you mentioned. Now did George sing that song? Because the song I'm talking about had a woman singing.

Really, you couldn't find it? Did the song sound a little like I'm Your Boogie Man by KC and the Sunshine Band? George does sing his in a high voice. I've never heard a female's version of this song but the words look look like the same.

Hah!!! I just figured it out!!! it's "Star Love" by Cheryl Lynn. When you asked what it sounded like I was in the middle of saying "it sounds like something Cheryl Lynn did and I went to Amazon.com and bang, sho nuff, it was her.

Awesome!! I love this song and I needed it to complete a compilation I'm working on. Yay! yay!

That is "Star Love" by Cheryl Lynn. I think it was her second (and prehaps only other) hit. She was the "Got To Be Real" singer and did a deut with Luther on a song called "If This World Were Mine" which appears on many of his hits collections.

Oh, guess you got it. Good for you, Supa!

Cheryl had several other hits besides those two songs...

"Keep It Hot" (1979)
"Shake It Up Tonight" (1981)
"Instant Love" (1982)
"If This World Were Mine" with Luther Vandross (1982)
"Encore" (1983)
"New Dress" (1987)
