My friend told me also that the song is THE ONLY song that sounds like that on their whole enire album.

I do remember a piece in Controversy magazine, which was the official fanzine up 'til '93 which speculated on whether Prince was behind Natural Selection, and they quoted a source very close to Prince as saying that it 'definately was Prince'. I can't remember exactly, but I think they hinted it was TC Ellis saying this.
