The White stripes at the European MTV Awards Yesterday I was watching the ema's and I was totally blown away by the performance of the white stripes. Their performance was by far the best performance on a MTV music awards show in years. RESPECT!

This is NOT a stupid thread. Other people make a GREAT thread like this stupid.
But you are right. Go buy all their albums. To me they are recyclers of a great music style. I did not catch their song though. I did not have the patience to watch all the sadness surrounding it. What song did they play? Any award NOT giving them props suck. | |

they played '7 Nation Army' and it rocked! You could definitely see that they felt out of place on that crap show. Meg banged the drums real cool. It was the best performance by far that night! | |

They're from Detroit and there's a lot of great music here (except Kid Rock/Eminem) but they need a bass player already.
