i'll try keep it short and sweet.

my sis dragged me along 2 beyonce gig in glasgow last nite.it was good not great just good there were quite a lot o technical faults and she was miming quite a bit, also singing live 2 at times !,

when she sang "me and ma boyfriend" she stopped at the p lyric and faced the microphone 2 the crowd , who instantly sang the lyrics straight back 2 her ,which happens a lot at gigs i know !.

but...got me wondering ???, how many of the 5,200 peeps knew they were singing p lyrics ...i wonder ??? lots o 15 year olds etc all singing there hearts out mmm again wonder if they know its not beyonce lyrics or even jay - z 4 that !

not many...me thinks !

My boyfriend is a huge Jay-Z fan and "03 Bonnie & Clyde" is one of his favorite songs. He sort of declared it to be the theme song for our relationship, but I asked him if he knew that the lyrics belonged to Prince and he didn't know. I was so shocked! I just kinda took for granted that he would know something like that. He's a musician. If he didn't know, it must be a whole lot of others in the dark. But don't worry, I'm in the process of converting him.
