Who's heard of Magazine? They were one of the most underrated bands to come out of the Post-Punk era. They were basically the remnants of the Buzzcocks (I think  ), and I'll admit I've only heard a couple of their tracks. But they didn't create any sort of impression on me yet. From Manchester, England, formed by Howard Devoto. Bassist was Barry Adamson, later of The Bad Seeds, now solo. I was looking up stuff on Barry when I read about his old group and checked 'em out. What is it about Manchester, producing all these great, influential groups (EXCEPT Oasis!!!)? - Joy Division, New Order, The Fall, Happy Mondays, The Smiths, The Buzzcocks. | |

Well I heard that Manchester is a pretty miserable place, which is why so many great bands come out of there. But thanks for your info.
