the Britney/Madonna collaboration was in the cards long before American Life flopped and the VMA kiss.
they were set to work together for a track on Britney's 2001 album, but scheduling conflicts kept them from working together. when Britney was putting this album together, Madonna was one of the earliest names mentioned in association with it, as far back as almost a year ago. | |
