He had one fantastic album, Thriller, like so many other recording artists. This one was the best of his career, the Beatles have their best album, the Stones, James Brown, Prince, Madonna, Alanis, Diana Ross, Donna Summer and the Bee Gees. What makes him, as and artist, more special that any other artist? I still don't get it. He is good, and talented but to put him on a special plane is crazy to me. Yes, he has had some good cds, only 4 in my opinion. But so has Madonna, Donna Summer, Whitney, Mariah, the list goes on and on, so what makes him entitled to being the king of pop music? I just said ONE amazing cd because that is where everyone is pulling their KOP accolades from, one cd, seven singles, multiple grammys, video of all time etc. Geez, king of pop in his own little Neverland. ---------------------------------

The Eagles 'Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975' CD total US sales are around 26 million copies.MJ's 'Thriller' CD total US sales are around 23 million copies.But *worldwide*,the total sales for 'Thriller' are over 40 million copies,making it biggest seller of all-time,around the globe. Another thing,the Eagles CD is a greatest hits compilation,so I don't even think it should even qualify in a contest like this
