Kenna- New Sacred Cow

Anyone listen to them? Anxiety told me about the group, and I just picked up the cd, and its got a nice sound to it.. I read that people compare them to postal service, ect.. But at some parts of the album it really remind of duran duran if their career started now, and some of the vocals kindof resembled george michael (last track), but its got an electronic feel to the entire thing, and very upbeat.. Very different, and worth checking out.

I went with Anx to see him when he played HOB in Chicago. He is incredible live and it was the best live show I have seen next to Jill Scott, who is my absolute favorite live act. His CD is incredible and I listened to it in my car for a week straight. Kenna wants folks to hear his music and he even stated on stage that he was the one who put it on the internet.

I LOVE KENNA!!!

I saw him on the Tom Green Show (FUCK, I wish that show was still on) and I knew I had to get his disc when he said that he was Ethiopian and that his biggest influences were The Cars, Talking Heads and Elvis Costello. You don't hear too many brothers citing THOSE guys as influences.

"New Sacred Cow" is a very good disc. HIGHLY recommended.
