i would add Carnage Visors to that list - and probably remove the Never Enough 7inch version since we have that on 2 singles collections.
i think there was also a different version of Lament, wasn't there? on a magizine plexi-single or something like that. I would want the single edit of Out of this World and the single remix of Maybe Someday also to be included... and what about the Curiousity tracks? especially Forever...

The Paul Oakenfold remix of "Out Of This World" is pretty tight too. And don't forget Pirate Ships, Purple Haze and their cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart. There are shitloads of demos from all throughout their career, some with much different lyrics. I suspect that all the real b-sides will be there. It's supposed to contain 70 tracks total (about 18 per disc) so they're definitely not skimping on quantity. And remember that the remasters are supposed to contain unreleased material as well, so it seems like they're going all the way with the rare stuff.

If you're worried about it being evil, it can't be any worse than Pornography or The Top.

I think it will be a surefire classic. Their textures, themes and instrumentation seem like a perfect match. And with Tricky's choice of covers in the past of Prince, Depeche Mode, The Banshees, Blondie, etc. I always wondered what it would be like if they worked together. Hopefully, now I'll find out.

Carnage Visors is a waste of 27 minutes of disc space. and I seriously hope to Jah that there are no single edits on this collection. ... But yeah, that early version of lament is excellent, how could I forget it? TRON said: The Paul Oakenfold remix of "Out Of This World" is pretty tight too.
I'd much rather have that remix than the edit of out of this world. TRON said: And don't forget Pirate Ships, Purple Haze and their cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart.
Pirate ships puts me to sleep. I would LOVE to have a copy of the "promo version" of purple haze. it's the original version before brian "chuck" new remixed it for the hendrix tribute. Love will tear us apart sounds like shit, robert's vocals are mixed so low. Someone mentioned young americans, yeah that would be cool but I really hope there aren't that many cover tunes on the box set. I'm mainly looking for fill in the blanks in my collection and have nice cd quality copies of all the b-sides. most of my b-sides are on vinyl and cassette. I read somewhere that the first song on the boxset is 10:15 saturday nite. fuck! that does not belong here. (but that's from my american point of view; i know it was on the american first album but not the british so whatever) i hope a lot of early stuff is included, like the stuff missing from the first american album (not to mention the songs that don't appear on all versions of that album -- so what, world war, etc) it would also be nice to have a clean copy of "cold colours" (the demo for primary with all different lyrics) I just wonder how much this box set and the bonus tracks on the remasters are going to overlap. no real need to buy the remastered if the same stuff is on the box. we shall see how deep it goes... I think the remastered albums will be worth it even if there are no bonus tracks. I love hearing my favorite albums updated with modern technology. But I hope there aren't a lot of repeats either. Leave the demo and alternate versions as bonus tracks on the albums and put actual non-album tracks on the 4 disc rarities set.
And don't forget the demo of "Cats Like Cheese".

and how bout a definitive 12 inch collection?
primary (extended mix) let's go to bed (extended dub) the lovecats (extended mix) close to me (extended mix) boys don't cry (new vocal remix) hot hot hot (extended mix) why can't i be you (extended mix) lovesong (extended mix) fascination street (extended mix) pictures of you (VIDEO MIX) high (higher mix) friday i'm in love (strangelove mix) a letter to elise (promo only extended mix) out of this world (oakenfold mix) the last day of summer (extended mix) and that's just off the top of my head, i'm sure there's more, but let's forget about the dreadful remixes that came off the wild mood swings album. and only four of the ones i listed above are on mixed up. anyone else? Keep your headphones on.

but i don't really hear anything different about the fix mix of open. someone prove me wrong? Keep your headphones on.

yeah, they're probably referring to the "new mix" of icing sugar that was on the orange bonus ep that came with kiss me x3 originally. oh, and other than standing on a beach cassette, i didn't buy any of their other singles collections, so that's why i hoped for the og version of never enough. i found them on slsk. good luck... i hope they don't include any of the shit from the greatest hits site. (the instrumental demos and unreleased mixes) most of that stuff was charming the first time i listened after downloading everything from the site, but a lot of it was quickly disposable.
