Did Anyone here see Mariah at Wembley Arena last night...I DID!! I finally got to miss thang LIVE, and she nailed it last night, Sonically she sounded amazing, She looked hot hot hot
I was suprised how thin she is, I was expecting more booty for my $ lol I was seated behind Jade Goody and her boyfriend The best part was a jazz freestyle she did while introducing her band (Girl needs to record jazz album she has the pipes for it) when she got to introducing the drummer she shaked her butt to a beat he was playing for her, when she introduced the keyboard player he played the scales up to a high register and she sang it back note for note , at this point we were all like and she did an amazing job at bringing on the heartbreak her guitarist "Vernon 'ice' Black" went crazy on the guitar solo and did a freestyle at the end of the song for a few mins, the she came out and sexed it up with dance routine to "I know what you want" highlight When she nailed her encore of "Vision of Love" She sounded AMAZING, . she's so dozy tho. i wish she would get her act together and just record a mature album instead of all this MOR or hip hop influenced stuff.

I did too. She walked right past us when she came through from the back. My friend grabbed her boob!! He was going for her arm but her minders were shoving hands out of the way and they whipped him onto her tits

I thought Mariah was amazing but I also thought the opening act Matt Goss was incredible, a voice or what?
Anyway, both Mariah & Matt have singles out on Monday & will be buying both for sure. What did you think of Matt Goss ?

I LOVED Matt Goss doing 'I Owe You Nothing' and 'When Will I Be Famous'. He's got a great voice and the memories just came flooding back (I was just 7 years old when Bros were HUGE, just the right demographic for their fanbase then). The new songs were OK. I liked the one dedicated to his sister who died. The one about coming home to London was AWFUL, and he really struggled getting the crowd going. He should have given up getting everyone to sing along after the 10th attempt, buthe went on for another couple of minutes and even got the band to stop playing so he could hear us

Absolutely MAD thing though, some of my fellow Jacko fan mates were there and I didn't even know they were going. They were playing 'Don't Stop Til You Get Enough' before the show and I heard a scream, looked around and sitting right diagonally behind were 3 of my friends

Ooh, Trey was excellent! Lawd, her backing singers had some pipes on them too. One thing I like about Mariah, even though I'm not a huge fan of her music as a whole, is that she always come across as such a friendly and genuine person. You can tell that her tour crew really are her 'friends' and they all adore eachother. I've come to like her more since she got totally removed from reality and went bonkers. The mad ones are always the best. Nothing worse than a down-to-earth ordinary pop star [This message was edited Fri Oct 31 6:58:58 PST 2003 by Ellie]
