The clean up woman...is a woman too...takes all the love we girls leave behind...The reason I know...so much about her...is because she picked up...a man of mine. When he needed love...I was out having fun...but, I found out...all I was doing...was making it easy...for the clean up woman...took my baby's love and put it on a shelf.  My parents used to entertain a lot and have card parties with friends on the weekends...(tonk!...(sp?)...)...and I remember that song...lol

Yep, she was vocal-couching/producing/singing back-up 4 that British white girl(Joss something) I 4got. She actualy worked with ?uestlove b4 in Eryka Badu's "Mama's Gun". Everybody were laughing at me when I posted a thread asking if she's Eryka's mother(Erica Wright & Betty Wright)how should I know? lol Its cool tho, I ain't gon' trip. Anyway, I have her 2002's album "Fit 4 A King": 
Of course it doesn't capture her old work but this effort is very tight produced, ya'll might check it out. Homegirl is bad, she still got those golden pipes. I may don't make much sense but something about Betty's vibe reminds me abit of Millie Jackson. Don't why I just feel it! | |
