Sandra St. Victor AKA Mack Diva This bitch is BAAAD ya'll!
I just heard her interview with David Nathan in her official site and I'm starting 2 dig her stuff. I love how she fuse her work with so many different genres(typical gemini). She's also Walls Of Chaka's contracter(Chaka Khan's back-up vocalists) since 1985. Not only that but she sang with Crutis Mayfeiled in his "New World Order" and not to mention her work with Prince himself(which he took most of the credit 4 btw lol). I'ma check her "Mack Diva Save The World" 2morro! Any fans?

Her interviews gave me a few facts that I didn't knew. I wish her managment improve her site, I mean where the hell is her board?

The board is there but the font color keeps you from seeing it. Let me go there and find it again. Not only that but the site is slow to down load. Not her fault.

Knocked up, Locked Down... Spinning in circles, alone at heart again. Dancing with shadows, waiting for you to come in. I'm no longer blinded by my love, I see everything. If you would walk right through that door right now, I'd lose my sight again. I laid for you in my sexy lingerie and cried...and when the darkness fell across the sky I prayed that you would die.
This song is amazing! Her voice is killer. A friend of mine told me a story about the first time she had seen Miss Diva. She had never heard of SSV and she went to a concert for The Time and SSV was the opening act. Sandra did a 20 minute version of Knocked up, Locked Down. Imagine your first experience with Sandra St. Victor is seeing her perform a 20 minute version of this killer song! What is her other solo album? I only heard of Mack Diva. She wrote Soul Sanctuary. I heard she was very unhappy with the way Prince did the song. I didn't read the original post about Emancipation correctly edit... And didn't she write Soul Sanctuary and not Emancipation? Gemini:Both Sides,,,thats her new album she wrote Soul Sanctuary and when Prince changed a line or 2, he took most of the credit and thrown a "co-wrote" credit to her. She also wrote "I'll Neva B Another Fool". Chaka Khan was picking each singer from the Walls Of Chaka group and make them step and do their freestyle singing. Sandra steped and scatted like a trompone lol she did a FUNKY version of Sarah Vaughan's "Shulie A Bop". Chaka was like "Mmmhmm thats my bitch, alright!". She's still singing back-up 4 Chaka to this day.
