Yeah,it sucks the way some artists take so long to make a new CD.It's ridiculous.Just get your ass in the studio, cut a bunch of tracks, pick the best 13 songs, and release a new CD,goddamit!! D'Angelo's last CD came out in 1999.By now,he should have released two follow-ups already.

seriously... and considering that it is taking him this long to make an album, it better be the best damn album ever released... god help him if there is even one shitty song on that album... cause if you think about it, if he only writes 2 good songs a year, by now, he would have an entire album written...

You NEED to check out "The RH Factor" D'Angelo has sweet ass cut on there called "I'll Stay" ooowwee better than the entire voodoo album its self!
PLUS Miss E. Badu look for it in the Jazz section every song is worth the money on this recording

Roy Hargrove is the guy who plays the horns in all D'Angelos music so if ya been waiting on an album form his TEAM this should totally satisfy your hunger~!

Roy Hargrove have been doing this music thingy looong b4 Eryka, D'Angelo & the rest of them. Ya'll betta check his old stuff too nod

Anyway, Ray is the ONLY worthy producer in that session.

I really don't understand how they left Musiq produced couple o' cuts 4 them, the brotha isn't even producing his own shit, let alone other ppl.

Whateva, I'm not having this,,,EW&F needs to let Maurice handle the WHOLE production. He's the ONLY person who could bring the fire outta their chests,,,invite Deniece Williams to the set too. Its been awhile since we heard Aunt Neicy music

d'angelo's last album came out in early 2000 (official date was januari 25th).
he promoted it for a year and went back into the studio. it has been a long wait,
but don't forget the brother has been busy struggling with himself (arrest, charges,
rehab, etc.). but he is suposedly pretty busy recording at this moment. it's
rumored that he'll return very soon with several projects..
don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine
purple music does the same to my brain
i'm high, so high
