Hey Old Shool New Yorkers,,,,,

Any of you orgers remember Edwin Birdsong? Do you know if his second album "Super Natural" is available in CD form? What is he doing today? I think I have all his albums(old school indeed). I have a live recording by Corey Glover's band opening for "Family Stand" at Tramps, and they performed "Rising Sign" by Edwin Birdsong. Oh without a doubt they ripped it up, closed their set with it. Those who have never heard of him or have never heard the cut, ask why Corey would choose this tune to close with, knowing TFS is about to take the stage. By the way I have a recording of the entire show. WOW!

I don't know who Cindy Birdsong is. Edwin's second album "Super Natural" was a Polydor release back in 1973. It featured some of Ronnie Drayton's(Lead guitarist;Nona Hendrix, Kelli Sae, Defunk and a host of others) best work(Sorry Ronnie but I still think so). Hey pfunkjazz, you know about this?
