i am watching this show and i am astonished at how pitiful it is! there are dozens and dozens of empty seats. this show is so bad that the producers couldn't even find seat fillers! the award that was just given was for 'best hook up song'...are they for real? oh man, its just awful! i was only watching for mj but even his freakish appearance can't keep me from switching the channel.

don't i have homework to do or something?

the broadcast was a joke. jc chasez didn't know the word 'icon' on the teleprompter...didn't he rehearse before the show?

the performances were all off! i love tom petty but the sound was horrendous. i know it was not the performers' fault most of the time; the sound was just poor. avril lavigne's performance, on the other hand, was deplorable.

at least i got some studying done and i was able to see stevie nicks. that was a nice surprise.

The country is in a sad state of affairs when shit like this happens.

I'm so upset that I had to work tonight and I forgot to tape the World Music Awards - they're so shamelessly awful every year, I always make it a point to watch. Even Prince looked like death warmed over the year he performed! My favorite was when Carmen Electra hosted and she made up the word "eclectric". Oy vey...!
