Man, can she take you on a trip over the universe or what?

My father ADORES her 2 his core, I remember him playing her song "Shulie A Bop" to the point where his turntables SCREAMED "Enough dammit" lol!

I love her Brazilian stuff too(the whole 70's) but nothing touches her 50's/late 40's stuff.

I feel so high whenever I hear her sing, and I think she does the BEST scatting IMO!

Any fans? There gotta be!

yes!!! ima a FAN, ive got a few of her albums...my favorite album is "i remember you" and my favorite song from this album is "star eyes" & "you go to my head"
...im ALL about the future of music, but its really no comparision when you look into tha past, (unlike today, "artist" get easily confused about artistic integrity, today "their choices stem around should "i" choose popularity with fashion trends)
SARAH VAUGHAN, was a very poised performer, she treated her voice more like an instrument than a vehicle for lyrics.
i love tha way she growles and rattles her voice, she still whoo's me every time i hear her sing, shes one of my jazz heros
