Where In The World Is Stevie Wonder Ya'll? There was a point where there'r news about his new LP. Now, there're NO news about new LP, tour, articles/interviews and no nothing whatsoever.
I heard Chaka Khan awhile ago says that he's gonna produce a cut 4 her new LP and they're gonna cover Donny & Roberta's "You're My Heaven", other than that. There's nothing esle! Where the fuck is he exactly?

Where the fuck is he exactly? Actually, "You're My Heaven" is a Stevie Wonder song. He wrote it, anyway... Stevie got married in mid-2001 and his wife gave birth to a son soon after. He's been working on a new album for close to 6 years now, but he admits he's been taking it slow. Last I heard the album was due out May of 2003; obviously that didn't happen. Who knows when we'll hear it now. Supposedly, Raphael Saddiq and Rockwilder co-produced some things with him. The song "I Can't Imagine Love Without You" was supposed to be on it, but now who knows. I heard Stevie perform this one live, and I thought it was just ok. But judging from the songs from Bamboozled and John Q., Stevie hasn't lost his touch! Not one damn bit! -SWANGcan'twait

It´s not a good sign that Stevie is taking a long
time 2 complete an album.Everytime his working like 8 years 2 complete it it´s a dissapoitment. His latest enjoyable work, the soundtrack 2 Spike Lee´s "Jungle Fever" was rushed in about 3 weeks I heard & that was way better then his latest album. /peace Manki

I don't know what's taking so long, but I am desperate for some new Stevie Wonder music.I've been playing his old 70s albums to death! Stevie has a TON of songs already completed and ready to go.The following songs were all recorded in recent years, and could appear on the new CD...
***"Truth Is The Light Of The World" ***"Lead Of The Sun" ***"If The Creek Don't Rise" ***"I Can't Imagine Love Without You" ***"Justice Of The Heart" (from the movie 'John Q') ***a duet with Brian McKnight, recorded in 2001 (title unknown) I guess he wants to take more time and make sure this album is perfect. But hopefully,he won't make a big, overproduced album like his last CD 'Conversation Peace'.Sometimes, when you take too long recording an album, you end up adding too many layers and embellishments. That would be really cool! Best thang about Stevie is his balanced production, my brotha is blind too(and like blind ppl, his hearing is the BEST sense of him) and he pointed out alot of thangs(simple thangs that can't be noticed) in Stevie Wonder's music that I really wasn't aware of. Plus, I'm curious to hear him do "Funk/Jazz" I pretty much think that Funk/Jazz from Stevie's closet would be HEAVEN fo' real tho

Stevie has been involved in a remake of one of his songs for the new Cindy Lauper CD. Also, he has a new album in the works - and there's a Prince connection...
