Oldies by your favorite artists that you're sick of hearing on the radio

Elton John -- "Your Song" and "Tiny Dancer" and "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" ... both great, but christ, he had a slew of hits in the 70's that they could throw in the mix occasionally.

David Bowie -- "Space Oddity" and "Changes" and "Rebel Rebel" ... ditto.

The Beatles -- "Get Back" ... with them, it's not so bad, because they have so many that get played a lot, but i've noticed lately that about 5 times out of 10, if you're hearing the Beatles on the radio, it's going to be "Get Back"

Prince -- "When Doves Cry" and "Kiss" ... come on, even "Raspberry Beret" and "U Got The Look" played once in awhile would break up the monotony.

Madonna -- "Crazy For You" and "Borderline" and "Cherish" are the ones i won't stop on if i'm scanning, and i'll even turn the channel if they come on sometimes. sick of them.

Anxiety

At my job, they listen to a classic soul station that plays "Do Me, Baby" at least once a night, sometimes twice.

It was kinda cool the first week or two.

Now, however...this baby is DONE. stfu

Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin
Start Me Up - The Rolling Stones
Another Brick... - Pink Floyd (actually ,I never liked it)

Actually ,our Classic Rock station seems to feel that BAD COMPANY is the be all/end all of classic rock...I cant understand why , but they play them at least once an hour.

omfg

Needless to say ,I dont tune in much.

***"Super Freak" by Rick James---Don't get me wrong,I love the song, but why can't they ever play his other jams for a change? Why not play "Bustin Out","17" or "Dance With Me" once in a while?

***"Brick House" by the Commodores---Great song, funky as hell, but wouldn't it be cool to hear "Slippery When Wet" or even "Too Hot Ta Trot" once in a while?

***"Always And Forever" by Heatwave---yeah,I know it's considered the greatest slow jam of all time...lol...but I'm sick of it! I'd rather hear "Mind Blowin Decisions" on the radio sometimes.

***"Got To Be Real" by Cheryl Lynn---a very overrated song, imo. Why not play her other hits, like "Instant Love","Encore" and my favorite,"Shake It Up Tonight"?
