I know how some may feel about Ms. Erykah Badu. There's a lot of controversy surrounding the person and less focus on the music (kind of like Prince, in many eyes).


but noneoftheless is truly superb and like mama's gun, I feel as if it's one of this yr most underated album. . There's not one bad track on the CD. I can play it all the way through without any interruptions.


The way I would desribe this album is, it's a diamond in the rough, because of a lot of people slept on it, but it's truly a beautiful album with good lyrics.

A lot of people slept on this album and pass it up,however. It was there lost.It was there lost. It's a feel good album with a throw back 2 the early 80's kind of feel. I would recommend this 2 anybody who likes soul music, I promise you'll dig like a pair of old addidas

i wouldn't say underrated... people have been raving about it.



underexposed, maybe.

I didn't sleep on it, got it when it first came out, but It just didn't hold my attention. Granted it has some nice spots and ideas, but it just seem kinda half baked. I was really excited when I seen James poysner's name in the credit, but i was let down by the majority of it. WHY Eyrkah! WHY! didn't you just take your time?

And I love her music

i agree...i've heard so much about other releases and i think erykah's stands equal, if not higher, than them. the cd is under an hour and i've never thought..."that's all". it is so heavy. that track 'i want you'...man, that's one of the best songs of the year!

I love her new album.I think it´s her best
& way way better than "Mamas gun".
Also a good thing is that it´s not 2 long like
many albums R 2day.It´s got the right lenght so that
U can listen 2 it in 1 take.No fillers.It´s all good!
