Both force their voices to sound better than they really are...the true question is who will HAVE a voice in 5 or 10 with all those gymnastics going on!

If I had to choose...well Beyonce is appealing...Christina is APPAULING

Christina's voice is more powerful. but all of that Mariah Carey vocal gymnastics and yodeling bullshit is annoying.

i prefer Beyonce's. simpler, purer, and more honest.

I agree with you on Christina.. but I'd probably still pick Christina, if I really had to choose between one of them,..

What?

I've had classical voice training, and I was always discouraged from singing "straight" tones. Vibrato is a huge part of classical training. Why do you think opera singers use so much vibrato? Straight tones strain your voice too.

True, but I was discouraged from using it too much in the style that Beyonce does. I was more encourage to be "open" and "long" that doesn't necessarily mean "always vibrato" and I'm not really talking about singing opera, but arias, which would be closer to pop than opera is

You're right. Overuse is never a good thing. Especially when singing in an extreme register (really low or really high).

If there was a singing competition going down, who'd you think would win out of these two ?

Now I know how some of you may feel about either or, but try 2 look beyond all of that and think about how these two young ladies have the strongest voice in today's music.

So who has the better voice?

Beyonce or Christia ?

they both bring something special

2 the table

beyonce wins as an overall performer

she carries herself like a lady

christina seems 2 be still

searching 4 an identity

although, when she came out with

beautiful, that song stole my heart

powerful

Beyonce, I feel she's a better performer overall.

I will give Christina her props though, she does have a powerful voice, but she tries way to hard to be ethnic with it at times.
