The Beatles - Let It Be Naked!

That's pretty much the only one I'm really looking forward to.

What's Let It Be Naked??

As for me, I look forward to no new release, because I'm still buying old releases. My next few are:

Frank Zappa:
Joe's Garage
Lumpy Gravy
Uncle Meat
Weasels Ripped My Flesh
Strictly Gentile
Sheik Yerbouti
Burnt Weeny Sandwich
You Can't Do that On Stage Anymore, Vols. 3 - 6

Led Zeppelin:
II
IV

Miles Davis - On the Corner

David Bowie - Aladdin Sane

Electric Light Orchestra - New World Record

Beatles:
Sgt. Pepper
Revolver

Once I get these, and a few "hits" CDs, I'll be ready to move on. But, as you can see, I have a lot of work to do, and not too much budget.

The last new release I purchased was Hawksley Workman's Lover/Fighter (check it out), and prior to that, Beck's Sea Change, so you can see I don't buy too many new albums. My next new release will probably be Prince's. Most of the music out there these days just doesn't do it for me.

Just did a little research into Let it Be - Naked.

That's fantastic. I'm actually surprised it took this long to happen.

So what's the difference between the new Beatles album and "Let it Be" other than it being remastered? Or is it all acoustic now? And why that album as opposed to any other one? It just seems like they were scrapping around to find some old stuff that they could release and that's all they could come up with...

Well the BEATLES cd is totally different because all of the Strings and arrangements and production that Phil Spector put on has been taken off. The CD also has a slight track variation, 2 songs are gone in place of another. And there will be a bonus disc of some Session Jamming. There is still alot that THE BEATLES have to release. Obviously the actual film LET IT BE needs to finally be put on dvd and there are tons of sessions during the WHITE ALBUM and ABBEY ROAD that still have not seen the light of day. The BEATLES are Capitols Biggest selling artist, and if it werent for THE BEATLES number ones CD, Capitol would have been bankrupted and sold off, so there will be many more releases, they havent even scatched the surface yet.

I've been looking all over for it ... nobody has it here. What the fuck is up with their new label? Collideoscope was released three weeks everywhere else before north america... and now that it is out here, I can't find it anywhere... Guess I'm finally gonna have to give in and order it online. I don't buy cds online, I like Wrecka Stows.

No Doubt's B-Sides album. Unfortunately, it's being sold in a box set. I'd rather just get the CD by itself.

I have to say that I'm not dying to get anything. The last thing I really wanted and thought would be great was Bowie's "Reailty" and I don't think it is half as brilliant as "Heathen" (probably the reason it is sinking like a stone at Billboard). Some CDs I might get include

Hits/Best Ofs
STP (are they done?)
REM (Only the WB Years but good)
Red Hot Chilli Peppers (as as above, even the same label but they might sneak "Higher Ground" in).
Sheryl Crow
TLC (maybe...depends if they actually have the better verisons of the song with Left Eye's rap)
Toni Braxton (never bought of of her CDs and now I don't have to).

New
Cyndi Lauper (not a fan of these all cover songs albums but this looks good...and shockingly so does Cyndi still!)
Can't think of anything else...what else is coming out?
