Andre 3000 is one half of the super hip-hop group, OutKast. They're responsible for such songs as "Rosa Parks," "Ms. Jackson," "So Fresh, So Clean," along with a host of other hits. They've actually been around for 10 years now, but have really blown up since the release of their 2000 album, Stankonia.

They just released their most recent effort, a double-CD entitled Spearkerboxxx/The Love Below. The interesting thing is that one disc contains all music from Andre 3000 and the other disc is all music from Big Boi (his counterpart). They pretty much disected the group to see how both entities operate.

Many people have compared the sound of Andre 3000 to Prince circa the Parade sessions or Sign O' The Times; however, you can also hear a lot of Parliament/Funkadelic, Earth, Wind & Fire, Sly Stone, Beatles, A Tribe Called Quest and other influences in their music.
