Probably not... punk and rap don't mix very well and punk is not party music or anything, so it wouldn't work anyway.

IceNine hates rap edit *although I didn't edit

 fuckin Ice I didn't mean mix the two styles together silly... apples and oranges... I meant just punk songs mixed but it wouldn't really work now that I think about it... no rhythm, no beats, people can't dance to that...

I also like a lot of bands you listed also, Ice! I'm surprised you didn't list any Boston bands:

Negative Fx
Ganggreen
The F.U.s
Jerry's Kids
SSD
The Proletriat(not really punk/hc)

I recommend getting theThis is Boston, not L.A. comp which has most of these bands and is a classic.

I also like a lot of Intl. Bands particularly from Japan like:

Comes
Kuro
The Stalin
Gauze
GISM

For more info go to this site.I've contributed to this site, btw:

Out of your Boston list, the fact that I forgot all about GangGreen is unforgivable!

Nice list of additions, b¥ the way. biggrin

Thanks Ice! Out of the Japaneses bands Comes is my favorite.Their 1st lp is the one to get(2nd is bad punk-metal).I have it on CDR and it rips. The female lead singer sings like a demented mad woman.Gauze gets the blood boiling too...

And of course, before the silly pitare gimmicks and yodeling there was ADAM & THE ANTS!!!

Adam then: drooling

Adam now: eek

How he fell from grace though...He was arrested in London in June after allegedly throwing rocks and disrobing in public.

He was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage charges. He had thrown several rocks through windows near his home, shortly after he entered a local pub and took off his pants!

This wasn't the first time he'd been arrested for strange behavior. In July 2002, he was arrested for brandishing a fake pistol in another pub, and later deemed temporarily insane by a judge, and detained for some time in a secure hospital to get better. Poor guy.

What about Test Dept though? Not punk, maybe - but WHAT a fucking racket!

Adam Ant is currently re-recording "Stand and Deliver" for a benefit for the (whatever her name is) Gorilla Foundation. The new song will be titled "Save the Gorilla".

Awww...dont. The guy has really been through the mill in recent years, and I really reckon he deserves a bloody break. It's a shame, cuz in the mid-ninties, even trent Reznor was praising Him and the Ants. Mental illness aint funny.

Here's a snippet from a recent interview:
Fallen pop star Adam Ant told last night how singing about gorillas has pulled him back from madness.

He said learning to play the guitar again had helped him overcome his mental problems.

Adam, who has been in and out of psychiatric wards for two years, has released his first single in six years — a remake of ’80s hit Stand And Deliver.

He said: "My new song is about gorillas but I ain’t nuts or bananas."

The 48-year-old star is reforming his band and plans to play gigs again later this year.

He said: "The last two years have been torture being in and out of nut houses. I have taken so many pills I feel like a rattle. But two months ago an old friend, David Pashkovietsky, came to see me and handed me a guitar. I started playing my old tunes and now strum away six hours a day. It has helped me come out the other side. It has helped me in the way pills never did. You really are looking at a dead man walking - It helped me turn the corner."

Yeah, the song is for the Diane Fossey Gorilla Fund - considering there are less than 650 (yeah, u read that correctly: just SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY!) wild mountain gorrilas left on this planet, it's MORE than a worthy cause. And 4 the record, it ISNT as bad as u may think.

Whether the reworking is shit or not is irrelevant.
U can do something constructive by pointing your browsers here:

Yep, it's true. Our favortie Dandy Highwayman has re-recorded "Stand & Deliver" and changed it to "Save the Gorillas" as part of some Gorillla foundation or something. lol

But, see I was talking about before Adam was the Indian/Pirate or "Dandy Highwayman". I mean back in the days when he was a punk rocker and he produced one of the best and strangest punk albums ever, "Dirk Wears White Sox".

What y'all know about that?

That it's kinda hard 2 pin down a decent version of the album, considering the various configurations that were released (it was re-released after they hit it big missing one of the versions of Car Trouble if I remember correctly) that Car Trouble rocks headbang

oh...and that it's fucking underrated!

But sorry, still cant beat that awesome powerhouse double drumming frenzy and dynamic production values of all the Pomp and circumstance-era Ant! It's just TOO much fun 2 diss it! I mean, 'Ant-Music'? Come on! OH-MY-GOD!!! bow
