Well sooorrryyy!

I won't be having a funeral anyway. I want to be placed on a rock in the desert and have the birds peck away at my carcass until there's nothing left. So no songs, thank you. Unless the birds are singing.

Carried The Cross by Katja Maria Werker

carried the cross to the damned light I saw
filled the hole in my life with devotion
and naked I stood as I reached for the door
thinking my only friend was the ocean
thinking my only friend was the ocean

call it stupid or call it the end of this road
that one blink of your eyes could heal me
we can't start it all over but we can go on till tomorrow
baby I, I followed your reasons
baby I, I followed your reasons
and you said and you said

wipe all your tears away, you can do
love is no illusion
rest down your worried head, you can do
love is no illusion

who can assert to make no mistakes
who can assert he didn't try to get it, somehow
we have to learn to hold ourselves together

thinking what we have done to the future
thinking what we have done to the future
and I say and I say

wipe all your tears away, you can do
love is no illusion
rest down your worried head, you can do
love is no illusion

My ceremony will be pretty simple. As you enter the arena, you'll be handed a maglite. Just the small ones, I'm not wealthy. As the last straggler walks into the place, the lights go out, and "EVERYBODY'S GOT A LITTLE LIGHT UNDER THE SUN" will kick off the 12" version of FLASH LIGHT.

Sure. No one will understand the meaning, but who gives a fuck. It's my funeral. I want my shoebox (I'll be ashes) placed on one of the huge subwoofers so I can feel that bass line.

u r stupid! LOL!! the visual i got when reading this was 2 much...

Okay, so instead of flashlights, tiny bottles of Absolut. Whatever. I want a stone jam. No songs about death or persevering or loneliness.

That's not what my life is about and it damn sho ain't gonna be what my death is about. So. "Flashlight" and the Stones' "Only Rock And Roll".

And that's it.

Maybe wrap it up with the song "Tequila". A nice instrumental.

Been very busy putting together my bye-bye party.

Sounds very macabre, but I rather have them do it RIGHT.

Musically I have opted for;

John Lennon; Across THe Universe Anthology version

and

Serenade for Winds, K. 361; 3rd Movement by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as performed on the Amadeus soundtrack.

Sounds like you're dead already. evillol

Remember that I always tried
Remember I loved only you
Remember me and smile...
For it’s better to forget
Than to remember me
And cry"

nope nothing.
But like I said, Maybe some others too... who knows what she might record in the future.
I just like these song better. Even if I wanted too, I can't think of a Barb-song to mark the occasion.
(Maybe "Miss Marmelstein" ?!?!)
