Stephanie Mills Talks About Her Son & New Album STEPHANIE MILLS SIGHTING! R&B diva talks of new CD and baby boy.
(Oct. 6, 2003) *Have you been asking yourself, "What in the world is Stephanie Mills up to these day?" Well, if you did, we've got some answers for ya. According to columnist Marilyn Beck, the R&B and former Broadway star is coming out with a new CD, "Born for This," very shortly. It's her first new album in more than a decade. "When I stopped recording 10 years ago, I asked my manager to dissolve my contract with MCA because I didn't just want a break. I needed one, says Mills. So with my time off, I just decided to do projects that I wanted to do rather than try to do work that would raise my profile professionally. I traveled with the plays 'Children of Eden' and 'Ragtime.' But I'd have to say the best thing I did in that time was give birth to my son, Farad." Mills says that balancing motherhood and her professional life is "rewarding, but it's a lot of work to do it right. I'm just happy he loves music, because he's around it all the time." My older brotha just told me that she was one of the earliest MJ's girlfriend. Is that true? 
I know that she have a song called "His Name is Michael" from her "Merciless" album but the thought of her having an affair with Michael Jackson never crossed my mind. | |

MJ didn't really date girls until.. well one time i heard he liked the girl who played MARCIA BRADY on the brady bunch. (yeah i know...that's funny) STephanie? i don't think this is true. but if he read it someplace then it might be true. stephanie was married to JEffrey DANIELS of SHAlimar fame. that i do know. | |

WHOA! she looks chunky in thos pix, not that its bad but I've alwaysed thought about her being a skinny tiny creature. | |

no...i saw her in concert and she's a short BRICK house.. she's not even 5 feet. so you know any weight on her makes her look chunky...but really she was very sexy and ... if MJ did date her...great taste MJ!!! | |
