28 songs! And so many of my favorites. I wouldn't care if he left it the same for the whole tour. I want to see exactly this show! What do you think noepie?

I would love to know all 75 songs he's rehearsing. If this is any indication, he seems to be interested in satisfying the hardcore fans rather than just the public like he seemed to do during Area 2. Not that there's anything wrong with that, cuz it was a great show. But this will be the best!

It will be the best, because he plays Lady Grinning Soul.

Remember that this was just a rehearsel.
I have a bootleg for the '76 rehearsel where he does 5 years 3 or 4 times, just to get it right.

Oh no, I'm aware of this being a muted rehearsal setlist, but I also saw a setlist almost identical to this over a month ago and it had LGS 3 times!

It was a 4cd rehearsal cd set

Oh my goodness.

It looks like Gail Ann Dorsey finally got her way - she said in an interview she's been badgering Bowie to put "Win" in the setlist for years. I've never been a fan of "Young Americans", but "Win" has been sneaking up on me over the past couple of years as a stand-out from that album.

"Time" is absolutely one of my favorite songs ever. The only thing that would make me happier would be if "Life on Mars?" or "Quicksand" were thrown in as well...but ya can't have everything!

You know, you put the words right out of my mouth. Exactly what I wanted to say! Well, except for the that I only have Young Americans for a couple of weeks.

But Life on Mars? would really be something... I love his performances of that one from around 1999.

He opened Area 2 last year with "Life On Mars?" and it was a stunner. One of the highlights in a night full of them. I would love to see him do "Bewlay Bros." and "Queen Bitch" as well.

Was "Area 2" a special one-off concert? Or just part of the tour?

It was a festival put on by Moby. The first year was called Area 1 and had Outkast and New Order among the performers. Last year had Busta Rhymes and Bowie. Bowie only had about a 80 minute set, but he packed 18 killer performances in there. He made it so that it didn't seem short at all.

Thanks!

BTW, just found this on bowie.net:

1.NKS
2.Afraid
3.Fame
4.Cactus
5.Battle For Britain
6.Fall Dog Bombs The Moon
7.Breaking Glass (short)
8.Reality
9.Changes
10.TMWSTW (original ver)
11.Hallo Spaceboy
12.Under Pressure
13.Sunday
14.Bring Me The Disco King
15.She'll Drive The Big Car
16.Ashes To Ashes
17.NGO
18.Pablo Picasso

I DO NOT know if this is the definitive set list for the show, seems like some people are on the phone, reporting as it goes on!
Also someone claims that Lady Grinning Soul is in the set. Maybe not tonight, but it's in the set. This is supposed to come from a band member.
