A couple of weeks ago I heard this LL song that he dedicated to his grandmother. (I thought it was a new one, but it could be old.) It was so personal. Definitely one of those songs the radio stations would play on Mothers Day.

I remember one of the earliest (if not THE first - I'm not sure) Mtv Unplugged shows was his. He set the Rock The House standard on that show that everybody else had to live up to afterwards, in my mind. And that's saying a lot, because I've never been a fan of his. He and his band kicked mucho ass.
