Anybody recommend any good Minneapolis artists for me?

Love the eighties Minneapolis sound... What Have You Done For Me Lately, Controversy, Didn't Mean To Turn You On etc...

Anyone know of any old Minneapolis artists/albums I could look into? Any Jam & Lewis or Prince proteges?
