Whitney on Dateline tonight SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
7:00 P.M. ET - Sunday Season Premier: Whitney Houston Dateline NBC takes an unauthorized look at the turbulent career and life of pop diva Whitney Houston. With exclusive footage of Houston and husband Bobby Brown and interviews with the people who claim to know the real story, ”Dateline NBC” goes behind the recent headlines to find out what’s really going on in the pop diva’s world. Correspondent Hoda Kotb has an exclusive interview with Kevin Skinner, who tells ”Dateline” about the multi-million dollar lawsuit pitting Houston against her own father, and the hour includes never before seen video of Houston and her family as they recently traveled to Israel for a visit with a group called the African Israelites.

I think it's fucking disgusting the way they're trying to destroy what little positive public perception there is of Whitney. I don't understand why the media (and some of us "commoners") get off on watching people fall. Why wish that on anybody, let alone someone you don't know personally.

Just watched it.
Okay, was this Dateline NBC or f**kin' Current Affair?! NBC has stooped to new lows in journalism. Their coverage was very bias and skewed towards negativity at Whitney's expense. They completely sold their journalistic soul in the name of ratings and sensationalism. They vilified Bobby Brown, made a spectacle of Whintey and got their insider info from Whitney's former drug dealer who came on Dateline to tell all? (Shouldn't the fool be in jail if he admitted on national TV to selling Whitney cocaine?) Wendy Williams fake, stringy-haired, breast augmented-a** trying to increase her fame by being interview by NBC. Is it me or was everyone in the interview anti-Whitney. It was one-sided and biased. IMO, more power to Whitney. She is a woman who is doing her own thing. I like her so much more now than in the past. She is an incredible woman and I like her. Do your thing with the headphones in the desert, girl!! B*mp the haters. [This message was edited Sun Sep 28 18:36:38 PDT 2003 by JANFAN4L]

May b in the minority here, but how else could they have possible reported this?? She herself declined 2 b interviewed 4 the piece--not that nterviewing her directly would have HELPED the piece.
She's cracked-out. Perfect poster child 4 this-is-what-drug addiction-can-do-2-u-and-ur-family-and-those-who-love-u. I hope she gets her act 2gether. SOON. Damn, she forty years-old! Rise up

You know,I really *wanna* agree with you,but let's face it,Whitney brought all of this on herself.Nobody told her to get involved with a thugged-out loser like Bobby Brown.Nobody told her to start doing drugs.Nobody told her to embarrass herself during a Diane Sawyer interview, where she proclaimed that "crack is whack",insisting that she has too much money to mess around with cheap drugs. The worst thing is,she tries to "rationalize" it all by saying it's her life, blaming the media, blah blah blah.Remember that tacky single she put out "Try It On My Own"? It's just like the Michael Jackson situation.I'm a fan of his and I've supported him for years, but I can no longer blame only the media for his downfall and how he is portrayed. He has done all this damage to himself.Nobody told him to spend thousands of dollars on those surgeries..The sad thing is,he has been in the business longer than most people, and he has seen alot of other famous figures self-destruct (Elvis,Sly Stone, etc).Too bad he didn't learn from the examples before him. ... With celebrities dying everyday, I'm surprised the season premiere focused on Whitney, and an unauthorized profile to boot! They made the report seem so important, too. I mean, they sent Hoda Kotb to Israel and everything! Sorry, but at times, Whitney did appear to be on another planet. And what's with not shaking the Prime Minister's hand, prompting Bobby to do it instead?
Now I'm just waiting for her to call up WNBC going: "Hoda, Hoda, Hoda."

I just saw it tonight on VH1.. and clearly she is a crack head! She has thrown her career down the drain.
what makes me laugh is WHY does everyone when they ask a drug addict if they use drugs .. they always bring up WEED??? Why is weed the safe drug to ask any celeb? What is a Weed Addict? People that smoke weed dont rip your head off over the phone Like Whitney did to that Radio DJ  Your NOT on edge for any little thing.. you dont look like DEATH at the MJ 30th TV Special on CBS!IF you do smoke weed.. you dont talk a million miles a second! You sound more like Steve O from Jackass.. NOT Whitney  ...OR Martin Lawrence! NO weed is going to make you scream & stomp around in the middle of the street. WE all wish Whitney would smoke a joint to level her out.. from all the CRACK she is doing.
