I have loads of respect for this lady. Yeah.. but it wouldn't hurt... I don't see how it would help either. Norah sold something like 10 millions records, so she has proven that she doesn't need to show her tits and ass to sell records like most others do these days.

You wil get more out of Norah Jones, as with any jazz artist, when you see her live. Certain nuances just don't translate well if you're stuck on TOP 40 & MTV. test

I agree - I saw her this past summer and she is so pure and talented. Prince thinks so too

well, as somebody who isnt "stuck" on mtv of top of the pops I still find jones' song selections simple...not that i think thats a bad thing...some of tracy chapman's greatest songs are simplistic...for me, that hurts my repeat enjoyment of a song... but let me turn on mtv and then check back with you later... maybe then i will accept my bubble tendencies... Space for sale...

No, you miss the point. Check back after you've seen her live, ok? test

you're joking, right? that girl can sing, she can write, she can play...she's a very genuine person. kisscamille is right, her music is pure. she doesn't have to pretend to be something she's not. maybe some other artists should take a lesson. now if you just don't like her, that's a different story.

Well Norah is a step above Alicia Keys, but just a baby one. Norah isn't doing anything that we haven't heard from Billie Holiday, Sara Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, or Shirley Horn All the gals say hoe if your man's giving up the gold. I was expecting you to name-drop Diana Krall or Cassanrdra Wilson in there too! You might have noticed Ella and Sarah have long passed and Ms Horn is hardly a young thang. So, it's nice to have folks capable of picking up the standard. test
