I meant to post about Joss a while back...she does blow! I love 'Chokin Kind' the best! The only track I dont really care for is her take on the White Stripes "Fell In Love With a Girl" (well 'Boy') THE STORY GOES... Joss was in England recording her REAL debut album of original songs and before she knew it...she was jamming in Miami with several legendary soul musicians -Betty 'Clean Up Woman' Wright -Timmy 'Why Cant We Live Together' Thomas -Willie 'Little Beaver' Hale -Latimore (of 'Let's Straighten it out' fame) They recorded 10 covers, some obscure in less than a WEEK and THAT became THE SOUL SESSIONS. Her 'real' debut will be released next year...depending on what SOUL SESSIONS does... I work in the industry and its been a long time since I heard such a buzz generate about a new artist. Especially an artist in her teens! I have yet to talk to someone who does not love THE SOUL SESSIONS... GET IT NOW BEFORE EVERYONE OWNS IT! Every minute of last night is on my face today.... | |

NIKKA 'Funky White Bitch' COSTA is taking TOO long between albums...but from what I hear...she'll most likely deliver an album next spring! Which is good for me so that I can save up $$$ to catch her live as many times as possible! The girl is AMAZING live! The way she thrusts around on stage with those sexy moves and curly red locks is enough to give me my first hetero-fantasy ever! Every minute of last night is on my face today.... | |
