SKIN - SOLO - FLESHWOUNDS WHAT'S THE DEAL ORGHEADS
:WAVE2: So I'm wondering why I haven't seen any threads on Skin's new cd. I just by chance happened to stop by Rebel Rebel in NYC and came across it. It's alot more tame than a Skunk Anansie cd and really reminds me of Annie Lennox's Bare in the way that lyrically it's so personal and intimate. If you guys haven't heard it, check it out. I heard the single "Trashed" first and it kinda put me off to getting the whole disc but actually that's my least favorite on it. I've seen Skunk several times in NYC. Once in Wetlands we she was going all crazy and bit my thumb. She kicks ass! http://www.musicomh.com/i...s/skin.htm [This message was edited Wed Oct 1 10:00:17 PDT 2003 by pimpdoutt]

I love her song on the "Princess and the Warrior" soundtrack - she has a great voice and it's cool to see her evolving from the thrashy rock stuff...Skunk Anasie was cool, but it didn't do her talent justice.

thanks for the heads up, i gotta get that! The soundtrack came out a couple of years ago - she sang with a group called Pale 3 that I think included the movie's director in the band line-up, and the song is called "You Can't Find Peace". Good song.
