Eurythmics - SWEET DREAMS (the video album) Has anyone else had the fortune of watching this incredible movie?
SWEET DREAMS (The Video Album) features a Eurythmics performance from a venue called Heaven, spliced with a few music videos and some stop-animation with mini Annie and Dave figures. Here is the sequence. Performed live from Heaven: This Is The House Never Gonna Cry Again Take Me To Your Heart I've Got An Angel Satellite of Love Music videos: Love Is A Stranger Who's That Girl This City Never Sleeps Live from Heaven: Jennifer Sweet Dreams I Could Give You (A Mirror) Somebody Told Me Wrap It Up Tous Les Garcons Et Les Filles Music video/End Credits: Sweet Dreams I rented the VHS of this from a place in Calgary, Alberta called House of Video where they have alot of old old stock, which makes for an interesting Musical selection (Beatles, Elvis, Prince, Michael, Madonna ...uhh Wham! hehe). Allmovie says SWEET DREAMS (the video album) was reissued on DVD in 1998. I think my favorite footage is "Take Me To Your Heart" and "Jennifer", and also the music video "This City Never Sleeps" which somehow eluded my path of vision until I rented this.

I LOVE this video album, even if Dave and Annie don't. I got it on DVD, but haven't watched that version yet.
My favorites are: Jennifer Take Me to Your Heart This City Never Sleeps I Could Give You (A Mirror) Somebody Told Me

So,it's basically a concert film with some additional footage and music videos added in-between the songs? Kinda like Prince's 'SOTT' film?

This movie really made me fall in love with "Jennifer" when I rented it earlier this year and made me want to buy all the Eurythmics albums (I'm waiting for those remasters). underneath the water..

Yeah, I'd say that would be a close comparison. The music videos ("Love Is A Stranger", "Who's That Girl") are the same classic clips that you have probably seen before and weren't produced FOR the film, but compiled later I reckon.

Hey, I've never seen this, but will definitely be on the look-out. Sounds fantastic!
Know most of these songs well, so would be interesting to see the visual, all delightfully packaged. Thanks for the info.
