That is a great album. However I really love "The Heat". I love that album. I don't care for her last one. Thanks for the post Twink69.

This greatest hits package is been released on the same date as her NEW studio album (I have heard nothing abou it as yet, not even a first single title, except that Blackground is releasing it)
The heat was a hot album, I loved that one too
but SECRETS was THE album in 96/97 for the slow jams
"Your making high" is still hot today as the first time I heard it

You didn't read your own post. Her new album is going to be released early next year and it looks like Arista is taking advantage of the fact that Blackground said the new album would be out Nov, 4. Not too shabby for sneaky SOBs.

They even have "Give You My Heart". Very good job on this hits set! I don't get "Seven Days" live though. Now nobody has to buy her last album just for "Hit The Freeway" (the only song featured from that album...what a shame they didn't even try!).

Interesting. . .in that special VH-1 did on her, she stated that everything was cool when she negotiated away from Arista. Wonder how she feels about it now. . .especially with the timing of it's release.

The first two Toni Braxton albums are superb, two of the best R&B albums of the 90s.The third album 'The Heat' was somewhat disappointing, imo.Too much of it sounded trendy and un-distinctive.There were a few highlights ("Spanish Guitar" is gorgeous),but overall, the album didn't impress me that much. And I totally slept on the last album 'More Than A Woman'.I didn't like the first single "Hit The Freeway" and I never really heard any other singles.Hopefully, the upcoming album will be a return to form.

I really liked her last album "More than a woman" (I hated Hit the freeway)
There some hot tracks on there like "Better Man", "Rock me Roll me"
