i think this is one of my favorites of recent releases. her voice is just amazing and i am always very impressed by her lyrics. this seems to be a logical, yet still new and experimental, step after mama's gun. | |

it is sumwhat self indulgent, but i feel that it is very soulful and weird, and catchy, and funny. My favorites of this year. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

After listening to it more, quite frankly I find myself gravitating back to Mama's Gun more than listening to WWU.
But I'm different among Badu fans: I never liked her debut album so I was never a fan right off the bat. It's only been within the past month or so that I bought MG. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes. | |
