Worlds most under rated songwriter Nick Drake. Anyone got anything to say about Nick?? All the gals say hoe if your man's giving up the gold. All the fellas say ruff if you're only giving up the bone.

I agree with you Garnis ~ such incredible talent. His death was tragic and even a deeper loss considering his age. Can you imagine where he would have gone lyrically and musically? He is still a huge influence on many artists.

Nick Drake is not underrated. He gets his respect. "Climb in my fur."

I love all of his albums, too bad many other artist of that era and same genre are recognized more than him. I do think his albums should come with a warning label saying "Warning do not listen if you suffer from depression" or "This recording may result in listener slitting wrist or swallowing a fatal amount of medication

Gorgeous. I think he's finally been recognized as a great songwriter, even if his legacy is quiet.

Very true. He was never commercially successful but he's had plenty of props.

With all the respect: The guy is dead and has been for a while! Sure, in his lifetime he has produced some good stuff but don't you think that, like me, he is being hyped a little too much?
Right now, a great songwriter is Mr. E (Mark Oliver Everett) from Eels!
