Yeah,I can't wait for this CD! It's another hits compilation, but with three new songs,it's worth it.

The Sting CD is good, but as usual with him it will grow on me.
There are some releases also from Dido, and some new Kelly osborne garbage. That horrible Puffy band has a CD. The Donna summer release looks OK but Im so tired of them putting out remastered singles collections and still cutting the songs to fit, use full versions, make a double CD. But the CD i have been waiting for is Roselyn Sanchez, well she is an actress, but started as a singer and she can SING, the CD is 95% in spanish, so its not some JLO crap, and it uses alot of Latin Musicians, unlike Jennifer who uses American producers and mixers. But Really thats about it this week for Music, alot of DVD releases obviously but not much in the music world.

The Donna Summer thing isn't so bad. It has 3 new songs (one with two verisons, so four new tracks) and kind of does have a small collection of 12" that includes "Hot Stuff", "I Feel Love" and "This Time I Know It's For Real". And its the same price as a single disc! Not bad! They say the 12" disc (which also has the new song that is leaking unto radio "Beaitiful" as a long verison and a 12" of the new song called "Dreams A Lot") is limited edition but I think will be out there for a while. Shit, you can still find copies of R. Kelly's "Chocolate Factory" with the 2nd disc.

Other new releases...

Bonnie Rait "Best Of..." (intrested since I don't have anything from her..appears to be the "Nick Of Time" singles and after)

Chemical Brothers "Singles 93-03" (intrested as well..and seems to have two full discs and I think no songs repeating but same story as the Donna release..limited edition but single CD price)

Better Midler "Sings The Rosemary Clooney Songbook" (as if I wasn't interested in Bette Midler before...now I really don't care)

"School Of Rock" soundtrack (Jack Black and classic rock...need I say more)

Lyle Lovett "My Baby Don't Tolerate (Hmmm...I know some people really seem to like him)

Gary Allan "See If I Care" (we don't, hillbilly...know I people have stopped reading now)

Il Nino "Confession" (I don't know but I think death metal)

Maria "My Soul" (also don't know but she looks good and says features "I Give You Take" and is only $5.99 at Best Buy)

Billy Currington "Billy Currington" (probably a hillbilly but I'm saving the best for last...)

Bad Boy's Da Band "Too Hot For T.V." (and this is the reason we don't talk about rap on this forum..actually, I've never heard them rap/sing but if it's P. Diddy's brainchild demon )

Opps..didn't see you mentioned the P. Diddy Band

The Kelly Osbourne thing is her old CD released on an indie label with live tracks and a new song with dad, a cover of a Black Sabbath song "Changes". Still don't care!

I should really stop this and get to my homework. Bye!

... and to all Germans in here who are into REAL good handcrafted songwriter music:

Today Niels Frevert (way back when singer with Nationalgalerie) is back with his second solo album in years: "Seltsam öffne mich". Don't forget to buy the edition including the bonus EP.

Almost official website (run by another Prince fan - Hi Phil!): www.tuetensuppe24.de

Btw, all non-Germans who do not care about the language of the lyrics - the music (& sound) is international level. Worth a try. Fits in the same category as Paul Weller or Evan Dando.

These are delicious... thumbs up!

I wonder why they skipped "Borboletta" , "Lotus" , "Amigos"
and "Festival" for their Remaster plan tho.

'Borboletta' is my FAVORITE Santana CD,so I would really love for them to remaster that one.I think it's just a matter of time before the other albums get the remastered treatment.
