OutKast is the shit-plan and simple. If everyone else can post shit on here about fuckin' Duran Duran and David Bowie, why can't we post stuff on people that are actually hot right now. Stop hating and get over it, already.

Unlike Michael Jackson and/or Madonna's non-music related drama, people are actually posting about an album they love. Seems to me that's what this forum is supposed to be used for. I'd rather see multiple threads about the same album, than multiple threads about MJ's numerous private and business related meltdowns, or Madonna's umpteenth publicity stunt this year.

actually, i agree too, even though i'm guilty of posting on all (and starting some of) the Madonna threads.

still, 2-3 threads should about cover it in most cases at any given time.

Not really, since all you have to do is skip the ones labeled with the names Andre/Big Boi, or the titles Speakerboxx/The Love Below/Outkast. My only point is that although it might be annoying, it's music related unlike some of the other subjects that have flooded this forum.

The other thing is that most of the Outkast threads are focusing on different aspects, different songs, etc., so each thread is a much more focused discussion that is much easier to navigate than one or two really long threads that are about everything and Outkast's momma.

I thought about a few really long ones, but it's true, that probably wouldn't suffice either. People get the album at different times, and some don't visit the org everyday. They might want to focus on something that hasn't been brought up about it.

Honestly, does it really matter how many threads there are of any album/singer?

If you don't like the thread, don't click on it, simple as that.

Whether they post MJ's private business or not (eg), it is still musically influenced.

Multiple threads suck! It's fine to discuss an album that alot of people love, but I can't see why there are so many threads devoted to the same topic. Why not just add your comments to an existing thread? And I felt this way about the multiple Madonna and MJ threads too...lol...I think alot of people just wanna have their own "exclusive" thread on the subject, but it begins to dominate the forums. But,as someone pointed out,we don't have to click on the thread if we don't wanna read them. So,in the end,it's no big deal,I guess.

Personally,I'd rather be discussing 70s music smile

And? It's not about music. How many times do I have to say that? I don't start threads about my computer, and it's "musically influenced" too.
