Anyone looking forward to the new Dido CD. Just thought I would change add a topic that hasn't been beaten to death, if you know what I mean. I'm not sure if I'm going to get it. Anyone heard it yet? I kind of liked her first album but I'm really trying to save money too. Any thoughts.? | |

I love Faithless, but I was previewing her new album (its all over kazaa) and it sounded a little dull. I may pick it up anyhow though. | |

I love "White Flag." I've always liked her style. Not about being flashy, and loud. A nice switch from what we are bombarded with or that is considered popular. Once in a while I'll listen to "No Angel" and I appreciate it on the whole every time I hear it. I'll sample it on the listening station at Virgin before I officially unless it's less than $10, then I might just purchase it regardless. I've had 'Life for Rent' for a week now and I have to say it's one of my favorite albums this year! 'White Flag' is incredible...I think you have to have been through a helluva break up to understand this album (Dido broke her engagement to her beau of a couple of years and wrote this album)...it speaks to THAT part of my mind and soul...the title track could very well be a testament to all of our lives as well as a hit single for our beautiful Dido!

Thanks! I actually didn't buy it and instead bought a bunch of hits CDs (Donna Summer, Chemical Brothers and Bonnie Raitt). I think I'm going to wait on it. It's not going anywhere. | |
