Beyonce is the ultimate blank slate. Paint whatever u want on her because shes devoid of a brain. A product brand name like Tide or Britney. She's cute. And in this day and age that's all it takes.

i'll be honest althom...i never used to like her. i thought she was a tad hootchie and albeit she had slight talent her songs (Destinys child) did nothing for me. now i will eat my words...she has become a beautiful woman whose solo cd is slammin'. "Baby Boy" is my jam...i'm sure it has a bit to do with Sean Paul but still...i will give credit when credit is due...beyonce rocks.
you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel

What? She irritates me to no end. I can't stand a single song which features her. I hate her irritating voice, her pretentious pseudo-diva attitude and her skank/angel complex.

I like Beyonce, but her solo CD is nothing special unless you just love mediocre pop music. I'd even rather listen to her Destiny's Child stuff.
But, she's unbelievably hot and has a personality. She's very likable.

Awww, that's sweet! She's certainly an uncommonly bonnie lassie! As a joke, a friend & his wife gave me what I wrongly assumed to be her 'Crazy In Love' cd single. When I tried to play it, I discovered it was in fact a dvd of the video for the aforementioned song. It's so hot, there ought to be a law against it! Either that or it should be made compulsory.

Here's some news...
Beyonce finds Sanctuary Julia Finch Wednesday October 1, 2003 The Guardian Music group Sanctuary yesterday paid £6.6m for the management group behind Beyonce Knowles and the band she fronts, Destiny's Child. The UK company is buying Texas-based Music World Entertainment, set up by former Xerox sales rep Mathew Knowles to manage his daughters, Beyonce and Solange. Mr Knowles also manages Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, the other members of Destiny's Child who have solo careers. He is staying with Sanctuary to build a specialist urban and gospel division. He will be setting up a tour agency and a new record label - a joint venture between Sanctuary and BMG Distribution - to develop new acts. The deal marks a new direction for Sanctuary, which has until now specialised in rock - with special focus on croc-rockers. Its artists include Iron Maiden, Guns 'n' Roses, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, while its recorded music catalogue has more than 150,000 tracks by artists such as Kiss, Hall & Oates and newer bands like The Libertines and The Strokes. But Sanctuary believes urban can be nurtured into a serious money-spinner. Chief executive Merck Mercuriadis said: "Our expertise and infrastructure can have a significant impact on the urban world, which despite being the biggest music genre is still underdeveloped and lacking the sophistication of the rock world." The $10m deal is being funded with $7m of cash and $3m of new shares priced at 55p or the average closing price in the five days leading up to completion of the deal, which ever is the lower. Link: http://www.guardian.co.uk...56,00.html You may recall Sanctuary is distributing the new LIVING COLOUR album, COLLIDE-O-SCOPE which debuts 10/07/03 in the US. www.sanctuaryrecords.com [This message was edited Wed Oct 1 16:08:06 PDT 2003 by PFunkjazz] test

NuPwrSoul said: The video for "Baby Boy" is HOT!!! Esp. the break with the percussion piece and her dancing on the sand
Only thing... she need to get rid of the fake hair Beyonce does look beautiful in that video but that girl needs to take some lessons in grace. her dance style is way too rough and sharp and I find it painful to watch. Someone needs to teach her to smooth out the rough edges and be a little graceful. In the 'baby boy' video she looks like she's doing a parody of a dance with that thing she does in the sand and in the 'Crazy in love video' she looks like she's not in control of her body and that's definitely NOT CUTE. she should make like Whitney and just stand in one spot and sing especially considering that singing is her best talent.
