The Mary Jane Girls broke up way too soon,after only two albums,both of which went gold.In 1986,Rick James produced a third album for them.The tentative title was 'Conversation' and it contained songs such as "Walk Like A Man" and the title track.There were also plans for Jam and Lewis to contribute a few tracks.Rick was feuding with Motown for control of the group.When the smoke cleared,Rick left the label,the group broke up and the album was never released.

Hopefully,this album will still get released someday.

Rick is still funky, but I'm sorry...he looks a damn mess.

I've heard it said (on here!) that she was thinking of forming a new Mary Jane Girls but I don't know about her being a member. I thought she was going to be more behind the scenes. With Mary there it might be interesting but the whole thing sounds like "Making the Band", or in this case, "Making the Hoes"! I would rather see a reunion.
