Sept.30---Donna Summer 'The Journey:The Very Best Of Donna Summer.

Normally,I wouldn't get excited about a greatest hits compilation, especially when there are already several Donna "Best Of" CDs available. But this one includes THREE new songs, two of them produced by her old producer Giorgio Moroder!

September is a good month for releases because the record companys are trying to time stuff to be eligible for the next Grammy Awards. They are hoping Grammy nominations & awards will spike sales next spring.

Read my mind on that one. Rob Zombie also released a very comprenshive hits/best of collection. I'm probably the only person hear likes both Donna Summer and Rob Zombie.

Kind of the begining of the holiday season too. These albums might hold over to the Nov/Dec, when the record comapny gives a (slight) sigh of relief and quite a few albums are sold. I think everyone has mentoined all the goodies. I bought quite a bit this month and I'm back to school and not making money. Very dumb of me.
