NO TIME TO MISS MISSY: Missy Elliott readies new album – already.

(Sep. 22, 2003) *Do you miss Missy? Well, just a year after releasing her latest – and very successful – last album, the producer/rapper is already preparing her next hot set. The new album, “This is Not a Test,” hits stores on November 25.
The urgency of her discs might be due to the fact that Missy is “in a good space,” as she puts it.

“This album represents how I feel right now in my life. I’m in a good space, and I think you can hear that,” she told MTV News.

The first single, “Pass the Dutch,” which reflects on the 80s hit “Pass the Dutchie” is expected to hit the airwaves early next month.

The rest of the album is still under construction, but it will feature Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, R. Kelly, and Busta Rhymes.

I thought her next album was a remix album with one new song?

Missy is back! Since Pussycat (remix) video never happened cause of Lil Kim or Janet. But her album is one to expect great things from. Can't wait.

I love Missy to death...Lord knows I do, but if I hear another reference to 80's hip-hop in her music, I'm going to blow my roof off!!! LET THAT SHIT GO, ALREADY!!!

I have to admit that I really didn't get into her last album as much as "So Adddictive", which was amazing. In fact, I only listened to my sister's copy and never really bothered to by it myself and I buy like everything!

She really does need to stop the eighties stuff already. We get it. She already did a "Pass the Dutchie" type song called "Pass Da Blunt" and I thought she was done with pot, which I'm sure the song refernces?
