dayum, get outta my head!!! falloff but yeah, i had bought a copy of mojo magazine today and it had this free cd that came along with it, roots of hip-hop. it has all these songs that have been sampled in hip-hop songs over the years, and "king tim III" is on it.

i got it on repeat, i can't stop listenin to it...

2, 4, 6, 8...fatback, dont'cha hesitate! nod

Hey HCFSnapz: what else is on that roots of hip-hop disc?

I reallly did the knowledge on Old School Hip-Hop, especially 1979-1981, but just in case there might be a track I could snag with that magazine I would pick it up..

lmao, every sample every crap rapper has sampled biggrin only two rap joints i see with "Musicians" is king tim and thats the joint, the other cuts are just cliche beats,and breaks. dont get me wrong all of em are good no great cuts. but every wanna be rapper is gonna snag this Mojo magazine and rip it into thier Akai mpc's lol

I thought it was gonna have rap from that same era, but it's like alot of breaks I have already. EXCEPT FOR flaming ember, "gotta get away" -- I LOVE THAT BUT DO NOT OWN IT. I totally haven't seen their vinyl in my travels.
