I've been wondering about this ever since I first saw her
new video "intuition" on tv...

Is it just a piss-take at the recent trends in music land
of taking off your kit rather than writing your own song?

I mean, Jewel used to be subdued and sexy in a different
way. Whilst writing her own songs with pretty nice lyrics.

And now all of a sudden, here is this sex-kitten style and
somehow it feels all wrong.

If she's serious about it anyway. But is she? The video
seems so overdone...

The lyrics also seem to hint at some things that are wrong
in today's society regarding commercial enterprise and the
corruption of values.

But even so, is this gonna be her new look or will she
return to her former self after this single??

Have you heard her new album? It's really quite good. And very surprising.

Jewel was just trying out some new flavas!!! her latest is 50/50 good/bad. Stand is really cool. it's the first album i've bought of hers, although i've always dug her! i was hoping the album would follow the intuition single - but it didn't . . . it had some nice moments though and i think she will always go back to her roots.

I just got the promo.

Gonna listen tonight.

I can not stand her!
