Kylie Minogue- Rhythm of Love I know I'm going to get ripped hardcore for this, but here it goes.
I LOVE this album! I got it when I visited Natsume in California and it's been on heavy rotation in my player ever since. What's been really cool is that different songs have appealed to me most at different times. First it was "Shocked," then "What Do I Have to Do," then "Things Can Only Get Better," then "Step Back in Time," etc. I can honestly say none of the tracks are weak, and the only silly one is "One Boy Girl." However, what is most surprising is how awful the albums that surround it are- "Enjoy Yourself" and "Let's Get to It" probably have 5 songs combined that even come close to being respectable. This album is infectious fun and the videos for the 4 singles are great. "Step Back in Time" reminds me of DavidEye every time I hear it, with its ode to the 70s and the O'Jays. The non-singles are just as strong as the singles, with "Things Can Only Get Better" being perhaps the best song on the album. My only complaint is that I MUCH prefer the album version of "Shocked" to the single version, although I like both. Anyone else like this album? Am I the only one here? Am I just a cheeseball?

It all sounds like Shep Pettibone, but to me that's a good thing.

Wow! You really love it! To give it nothing lower than a 7. Looks like it holds up with the best of 'em for you.

Let me know if you want me to send it to you through messenger or something. It seems perfectly suited to your style. In fact, the whole album sounds like Madonna/Shep Pettibone collabs.

Great album, I'm not a big fan of the non-SAW stuff on there, but it was a completely different sound for SAW, they shifted a gear with Better The Devil You Know, Shocked & What Do I Have To Do.
Plus the singles roster from the album was just flawless. Better The Devil You Know Step Back In Time Shocked What Do I Have To Do Classic. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm a sucker for a major chord

A lot of fans agree with you on that! My order on the album would probably be: Shocked- 8 - I prefer the single DNA remix What Do I Have to Do- 10 Things Can Only Get Better- 6 Step Back in Time- 10 Always Find the Time- 9 Better the Devil You Know- 9 - This song is overrated, the music is better than the song Secrets- 8 The World Still Turns- 8 Rhythm of Love- 6 Count the Days- 7 - About Michael Hutchence!! One Boy Girl- 7 I love this album! The album tracks, were a much higher quality than Kylie's first two albums. I'm suprised it only got to number nine in the UK. I don't agree that 'Let's get to it' is a bad album. There are no amazing singles like the ones on 'Rhythm' but some of the album tracks are great eg.'Right here, Right now' and 'Live and Learn' ********************************************

Kylie's most sexy song will always be "Confide In Me"
