Don Myrick really fucked me up. I was listening to him do a solo on Phil Collins live album just a few days ago. I knew that someone from the EWF horns had accidentally been killed, but I didn't know it was him.

Karen "Hot Shot" Young? 1991? Can't remember if I knew that? While I do remember that Freddie Mercury passed, I can't believe it's been 12 years! Valorie Denise Jones of the Jones Girls has been gone since 2001? I also remember the name Sergio Munzibai (NY remixer).
Didn't see these names on the list: Sherrick passed away January 22 1999. (I loved "Just Call") I don't know his last name. I know Dennis Brown (d. July 1, 1999) was a reggae artist (maybe that's why he's not on the list?) but his Funkin' for Jamaica was a dance hit.

I knew about most of these people. The real shock to me was reading about Stony Browder, Jr. (Savannah Band founder and Kid Creole's brother). I was unaware that he had passed. RIP.
