Grammy Award-winning R&B singer R. Kelly recently shared with Blender magazine that the backlash from his pending child pornography case has caused him to feel like Osama bin Laden.

Kelly told Blender, "People can say whatever they want about you without knowing the facts. They can criticize you without even knowing you and hate you when they don't even know you. All of a sudden, you're like the bin Laden of America. Osama bin Laden is the only one who knows exactly what I'm going through."


R. Kelly is currently awaiting trial in Illinois's Cook County on 21 counts of child pornography, with charges relating to a videotape that allegedly shows the singer engaged in sexual acts with a minor. He also faces child-pornography charges pending against him in Florida, stemming from photographs authorities say they found on his digital camera. The singer is scheduled to return to court on September 26.


In related news, Kelly released his first ever greatest hits set, the 'R.' In R&B Collection Volume 1, on September 9 on Jive Records. The first single from the set is "Thoia-Thoing."

R. Kelly is a fucking moron. Even if the child pornography thing hadn't popped up, it is known here in Chicago about his affinity for young girls so that 'judging folks without knowing them' crap is bullshit.

I Can't wait for His Albums to Drop.R.Kelly is Respected in Music Circles but He hasn't dealt with stuff like what Michael Jackson had to deal with 10 years back or 2Pac or Even Kobe for that Matter.In His Defense with the kind of Success He is Having this Year&How Productive&Successful He has Been He should Be getting More Props from the Music magazines&whatnot IMHO.but He ain't that Big Around the World to Merit that kind of Statement.
