I'm sorry, but I will never buy my child a children's book by Madonna. "Here, sweetie, read The English Roses, then after that you can look at the Sex book too" She keeps trying to live a double life and it's sickening me

Sounds like we are going to forget that AL even came out huh? She really is going to push this book and has already forgotten that her album is out. Hopefully she will preform "Nothing Fails" on the show.

BTW, I almost want to get this stupid book. It's between this and the new Al Franken book. Hmmm...

if that's your thread of logic, then maybe you shouldn't have kids at all.

she's meeting the family of a dead girl, who Madonna had talked to every day for the last month of her life. they met up through Make A Wish, but Madonna started calling her every day, instead of just the once...

neither am i, but i am a fan.

what i'm saying is that your logic is flawed if you think to give your child the children's book she's written, that you have to follow it up with the Sex book is completely ignorant.

i know you were just looking for a clever one-liner, but it just doesn't work.

for example, by your reasoning, if you let your kids watch Thomas The Tank Engine, you'd automatically have to show them a video of George Carlin's standup routine.

Yeah, I think you missed my point. I was saing that 1. I don't think she's qualified and 2. a Madonna fan who has kids probably will have the sex book laying around somewhere too. I'm not saying she has to be a nun, but damn, I just don't like it

1. not qualified to write a children's book? please. a child is qualified to write a children's book. that's why every celebrity and their kid has one out.

2. confuse you really think that a Madonna fan is going to have the Sex book sitting out for their kids to see? what makes you think that?

You like picking on me don't you lol

With her history, I don't think she should be writing childrens books to try and redeem herself in the eyes of her children (let's face it, that's the only reason she's doing it) and it will be mostly her fans that will buy it

I will never buy a childrens book from the likes of Madonna and I wouldn't buy one from the likes of Prince either

Mind you, we're at a fan site for someone who went from singing Sexy MF to cutting childrens albums and preaching JW dogma.

ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE ENGLISH ROSES GO TO CHARITY

this book is already a million plus seller guaranteed so, that means millions to charity. madonna could have just kept that money. she is sharing herself in a good way. how bout stopping with the negative and just focus on that

What's illogical about it? It makes since to me. People should be judged by their actions. It's like the porn star running for governor. How is it logical to buy it?
