: I caught all the info posted on this board, but
: I hadn't seen anything from Bernie's side.
: That's all.
: Anyways, I'm about to spread the word on a
: number of boards I just want to make sure
: it's definite. When I see it on Bernie's
: site, then I'll know it's gonna be really
: real.
: --Previous Message--
: Judie has confirmed this, a number of times
: and
: places.
: --Previous Message--
: I keep checking the tour dates on his site.
: Maybe Judie can throw out some kind of final
: word. Much appreciated!
: This is major news for all us Maggots!!!

omg

Judie used to usually have some harsh words for George.
The Pfunk empire must have really patched some things up for Bernie and his wife.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

I guess it's mostly issues over receiving due credits and making payments in full faith. I think things now are handled between managers and escrow accounts. Just my guess.

GEEZ where have you been? Ever heard of Talking Heads? PRAXIS?

Pretty much the falling out was around the time of ONE NATION. I don't really know the details. I can only speculate and make up shit, but a lot of it has to do with money and unpaid royalties.

He's got his own band BERNIE WORRELL & THE WOO WARRIORS. Check the discography at www.bernieworrell.com. There'll be a pop quiz on Monday.

I'll be at both the Texas shows! I'm expecting a hell of a show in Houston at Texas Souther University. Austin always gives up the Funk when George and the P-Funk Allstars come to town. Bernie funked us up recently with a killer show.

I do remember a interview with Bernie where he was saying that the reason he was not playing with George anymore was because of the money that was owed to him for previous work, so I guess they have straightened that out and our ready to funk together again!

Bernie Worrell is arguably one of the greatest Keyboardists that has ever lived. His work on Parliaments albums is legendary.

the Man covers so Many different Styles of Music&So Many Backgrounds.while I have a Few Other Bands that I prefer more than P-Funk overall:when it comes to straight up Playing I can't think of any Band that can touch those Cats Period.they got every Base covered.George Clinton was Truly Blessed 10 Fold with those Bands he had&those Cats jumping on Board.

Judie's main gripe was that George never credited her for co-writing 'Red Hot Mama'. He gave her a credit for 'You and Your Folks', which she says she had nothing to do with.

Actually George, Bernie and Judie are very good friends.
They had disputes as they say time heals all wounds.

Bernie left the touring band in 85' and was replaced by Amp Fiddler.
